May 16, 2012 Barnes Foundation Opening Press Preview

WEDNESDAY |  2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway

With the opening week of the Barnes Foundation on the parkway  soon Philadelphia will be, most definitely, one of the nation’s destination city to go to for Art and Culture.  Despite the continuing controversy (Friends of The Barnes Foundation, The Art of the Steal Trailer, The Will) you have to visit this $200 million dollar, paid in full, Art and Culture campus.

This is a place you can stay in all day it has everything just like the Philadelphia Art museum except the experience is like a visit to New York, chic, cool and “meet me there.  For me, the lower level and Gallery Garden is place of reflection and a little “away SoHo work” if you need to get out of the office; there’s free wifi on the premises.
