HYLO BOUTIQUES | STUDIO : CHRISTENSEN | 333 S. 20TH STREET
THURSDAY. Witold Gombrowicz famously begins his Diary with a half-week of entries that simply declare, “Monday. Me. Tuesday. Me. Wednesday. Me. Thursday. Me” Thursday night aficionados of the Arts gathered with like minded individuals to review the long out of print (in English) Gombrowicz’s Diary at the Hylo Boutiques.
This book, WITOLD GOMBROWICZ DIARY translated by Lillian Vallee, is 800 pages – a tome of a serious journey of one man’s mind – my challenge is to read this book in it’s entirety or go to the theater and see the play. I think I’m going to the play and there’s no shame in that (Homer’s Iliad is rarely read in its entirety). : )
For a complete view of the images or to order prints/digital downloads from this event please select the “Aug 16, 2012 HYLO Boutiques – Witold Gombrowicz’s Diary” album in the right column of this photo weblog.
