SUNDAY MORNING | LOCUST STREET
RIGHT STEPS HOSTS INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOW FOR KIDS 2011
The Philadelphia Collection 2011 Kick off was fast paced with way too many public and private fashion shows (Showing at the same times) in key segments of the City. Most memorable, for me, was yesterday’s fashion show.
The majority of the childrenswear (over 20 pieces) including heads and wings were inspired by the children of Right Steps and designed and created by the Right Steps Boutique preschool and childcare center.
Fiona’s Childrenswear, is a special line of delicate and delicate fairy costumes designed and handcrafted by Fiona’s owner Karen Clarke. Each costume is created with fine quality fabrics and decorations, and each is unique in color and design. Complete with wings and wands, handmade whimsical garments, including tulle tutus and ballerina skirts, fun fairy wings, wands and floral hair pieces.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen such determined models with a following. The audience just loved and adored them and the models personalities were just so mercurial. It was very difficult keeping up with the animated; lively; sprightly little people. Watch out for these future divas. : )
I’m thinking Fall Fashion will be… Butterflies.

What does Fiona’s Childrenswear have to do with this show? It is my understanding the show was hosted by Right Steps center and all the costumes were design by them. It is very misleading…

Kevin,
I apologize if it appeared misleading. This photo weblog is to “showcase” my photography skills and the minimal basic written content is secondary. I gather my information through bits and pieces of what I get from the participants of the events that I cover.
It was my understanding that at least four children wore outfits from Fiona’s Childrenswear, if that’s not so then inform me with the “facts” I will have no problem erasing this company’s name from my photo weblog.
Warmly
-Al
