Walking the beach is fine but I found the Miami Art Deco historic District fascinating with its architecture and colors. It is good that the area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Because once you’ve been immersed it’s like being in another time and place.
In 1979 Miami Beach’s Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943.
CLEVELANDER HOTEL | GREEN LEGION NITE PARTY
On a huge moon lit night the big exclusive party to be was at the Clevelander Hotel right across the street from the beach and if you didn’t have the right wrist band on you could not get in to the near capacity partying crowd.
