July 18, 2012 United States Council of Mayors


THE BEST OF PHILADELPHIA  |  TENDENZA

WEDNESDAY.    Last night at Tendenza (located near The PIazza) the honorable Michael A. Nutter greeted and welcomed a few of the nation’s Mayors visiting for the 80th Annual Meeting of The U.S. Conference of Mayors.  The Mayors got a little respite from the week long activities that was held in several cities.

The U.S. Conference of Mayors is the official nonpartisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more. There are 1,295 such cities in the country today, and each city is represented in the Conference by its chief elected official, the mayor.
