PHILANTHROPY.   Last night Philadelphia’s notables gathered to celebrate the 3rd Annual XIX Most Fashionable Women in Philadelphia event at Restaurant XIX at The Hyatt at The Bellevue.  Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter joined Nicole Miller Philadelphia store owner Mary K. Dougherty as she unveiled one of the VIP highlights of this year’s Philadelphia’s September Celebration of Fashion.

 “XIX Most Fashionable Women”  jump started “The Philadelphia Collection 2012”, a comprehensive week-long series of fashion and style events supported by Mayor Michael Nutter.  The rejuvenation of Philadelphia’s design, fashion and related manufacturing industries are key building blocks of his successful Creative Economy strategy for bringing 21st century jobs and businesses to the city.
