Mar 27, 2013 PIFA Launches the Festival with a Press Preview

Beginning from the Broad street entrance doors guests encounter an impressively large Time Machine (100 feet long and 16 feet in diameter) that spirals across the Kimmel Center Plaza.

PIFA, Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, launched its 2013 festival with a Press Preview last night. The media had the opportunity to walk through the Time Machine, enjoy samplings of great food, music,  selected performances and the theatrical show “Flash of Time”.

From March 28th to April 27th, The Kimmel Center will serve as a festival hub for a feast of ticketed events and FREE activities, including the festival’s interactive centerpiece – an INTERACTIVE TIME MACHINE EXHIBIT, sponsored by Dow Chemical, and a twice-nightly FREE “Flash of Time” theatrical show.
