Funds raised from the Ball on The Square will support the one million dollar restoration and preservation campaign launched by the Friends of Rittenhouse Square last year. These improvements will allow residents, locals and visitors to fully enjoy the beauty of the park year round.

The Friends of Rittenhouse Square, a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, was formed in 1976 with a mission to preserve, protect, and beautify Rittenhouse Square. Funds raised by the 2014 Ball on The Square will be directed towards the preservation of Rittenhouse Square. Rittenhouse Square is not only one of Philadelphia’s most valued landmarks, but it is also a focal point for the neighborhood, a meeting place for residents and workers, and an oasis of nature and tranquility in an urban setting. More information about The Friends is available at www.friendsofrittenhouse.org.
