WEST PHILADELPHIA | BELMONT PLATEAU
FAIRMOUNT PARK. To really experience the visual rulers of the Nighttime Universe away from the throngs of people visiting the city’s major fireworks go to the Belmont Plateau. At night the darkness is primitive, scary and makes one feel isolated and alone in the vastness of the universe but there’s safety in numbers and hundreds go every year.
