The Junior Chorus members (3rd and 4th graders) from the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School did a fantastic performance singing in the Bellevue Hotel lobby for the Academy of Music Anniversary Concert and Ball guests.

The songs are as follows:

“Magic In The Air” which Kelly was so awesome and took the tune of “One More Sleep Til Christmas” by Paul Williams and made it fit for the Academy.

” Walking In The Air” : music and lyrics by Howard Blake

” Thank You For The Music” (from”Abba:The Album”) by Benny Anderson and Bjorne Ulvarus

“When You Wish Upon A Star” by Leigh Harline and lyrics by Ned Washington

“Do Re Mi” by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II

“A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” by Mack David, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston

“Climb every Mountain” from the Sound Of Music

Amazing what well mannered kids can do in front of a crowd.  For a view of the images from this event please select this link or the “Jan 24, 2015 The Academy of Music 158th Anniversary Concert and Ball”  album in the right column of this photo weblog.
