A Cotillion is a formal ball and social gathering which historical significance dates back to the 18th century in Europe and America.

The Cotillion is the venue for presenting debutantes (or debs) during the debutante season (May through December).  A debutante is a girl or young lady from a ‘well to do family’ who has reached the age of maturity and, as a new adult, is introduced to society at a formal “debut” presentation.

A “Well to do Family” is COMMITMENT!!!

Today most cotillions are also used as classes to teach social etiquette, common morals, manners and respect which has been, since 1985, TEENSHOP’s mission to make a difference in the community.
