Oct 5, 2017 The 5th Annual Symposium of the Dennis Farm Charitable Land Trust


HISTORY | SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, PA

HOP BOTTOM, PA. The Dennis Farm. Prince Perkins fought in the American Revolutionary War (1775-83), moved to northeastern Pennsylvania from Connecticut with the original wave of settlement into the region following the American Revolution, married and settled a 153- acre farm in 1793.

THE DENNIS FARM  |

The farm is still there and his descendants have retained ownership (more than two centuries) of the property to this present day.  Prince Perkins was a free African-American.
