Sep 16, 2017 Squallapalooza 2nd Anniversary Party

CHARITY | LIFESTYLE

WORCESTER. PA. Last month I covered an event in the township of Worcester (near Norristown, PA) the host, Pat Mascaro, gave his second annual event, “Squallapalooza”, and it was a real blast. Not only the talent, “Color Me Bad”, the guests were fantastic, genuine, down to earth, and welcoming I really enjoyed the experience.

Squallapalooza  |  PAWS

Philadelphia is a destination town with international visitors and Citizens arriving everyday to enjoy one of the United States’ “First Capital cities” amenities and hidden gems. Not many people know that “Philadelphia was one of the nation’s capitals in the Revolutionary War (1775–1783), and served as temporary U.S. capital while Washington, D.C., was under construction. “

However, people overlook or don’t even know about the myriad townships that surrounds “The City of Brotherly love” nor the fantastic people that live and work in the outlining areas. Something is always going on and there are so many circles of influences and opportunities to network and meet new friends to make a better world. Get involved.

This years donations (roughly $5,000) went to PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.

PAWSis a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is the city’s largest rescue partner and operates two high-volume, low-cost clinics serving pet owners and rescue organizations that lack access to affordable basic veterinary care. Through its three no-kill shelters and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.”
